Security ?
We are part of the MG Consultancy Group, the body
of which comprises a number of qualified Crime Prevention, Reduction and
Risk Management experts. The majority of the team members are also
Golfers, playing in the North West of England, across the UK and abroad.
The team has over 30 years experience in the fields of Security,
Training and Risk Management and over the last year has worked with a
number of Golf Clubs to prepare surveys, solutions and action plans to
address their issues. These in turn have led to invitations from other
bodies to undertake the same processes.
What can Golf Club

All surveys undertaken follow the Home Office
Guidance on situational crime prevention. The technique used in all
security surveying, however large or small, is called the
‘onion-peeling’ principle. This simply means starting at the outside and
working inwards. The survey covers a number of areas including;
- Preparation (what crime has there been)
- Environment
- Perimeter
- Shell
- Interior
- People
- Procedures/other issues
This process can apply to every type and size of
business. It splits the business survey into several layers. The
objective at each layer is to delay and put off the criminal and to
protect or remove any possible targets (a target is anything a criminal
may want to steal or damage).
